Charity you are representing and why?
The Parkinson's Disease Society - At present there is no cure, so it is vital
to support organisations such as this who provide support to those affected by
Parkinson's and their families.
Why have you entered CRN Fight Night?
We sponsored the event last year and I thought next year I'd like to be the
one fighting, so here I am. I was also hoping for a battle royale against the
Sales Manager of CRN (not mentioning any names Alan), but I understand in his
own words he couldn't risk damaging the "face of CRN".
Have you ever boxed before?
Not in a ring, had my fair share of fights on the rugby pitch.
How would you describe your boxing style?
A little bit like Mohammad Ali, dancing feet, all the chat and a knock out
punch to go with it.
What extra training have you been doing to achieve full fighting
fitness?
A large part of my regime has been focused on gaining the extra pound needed
to reach the weight category, so Subway breakfasts have become the norm.
Have you picked a theme tune and if so, what is it and why?
Which professional boxer (any era) do you think you could take on?
Would have to go for Prince Naseem Hamed. Since he has stopped fighting I
think he has been indulging in the odd KFC and McDonalds here and there. So I
would probably stand more of a chance.
What words have you got for your opponent?
Remember this is all for charity. So when its all over everyone is a winner. That said nobody likes a loser.
