Charity you are representing and why?

NSPCC. In any society cruelty and brutality to children is shocking. In our own soceity here in the UK, it remains a fact of life for many kids, often from the people they most trust. In hard times such as these, violence against children increases. A recent survey for the NSPCC showed that more than 300,000 children have already been hurt trying to stop arguments at home. The NSPCC helps children to ask for help, and drives campaigns for awareness and behavioural change.

Why have you entered CRN Fight Night?

I'm obviously mad...but seriously I'm usually up for a challenge. I watched two colleague fight here last year, and thought "I'll have a go at that". Training for the London Marathon I thought would also help (little did i know...!), and it's for a great cause.

Have you ever boxed before?

No...used to do a bit of taekwondo. Apparently not allowed to use my feet though!

How would you describe your boxing style?

Errmmm, complete beginner. Yet to develop a style, but naturally gritty, head down, get it done kind of guy.

What extra training have you been doing to achieve full fighting fitness?

Marathon training...with core work, and have just bought a bag for home use. I have a local trainer who will start work with me soon.

Have you picked a theme tune and if so, what is it and why?

Not yet...will let you know.

Which professional boxer (any era) do you think you could take on?

Pro Boxer?? None! I always wanted to punch Chris Eubank whenever he opened his mouth though...

What words have you got for your opponent?

Lets have a good one, and give the crowd the best fight of the night, then shake hands afterwards over a beer.
