The International Fund and Product Awards 2010 criteria
Who entered?
The judges have the discretion to decide eligibility to the awards.
However, as a rule of thumb, entrants of the awards must have been the
international division of a UK-based life, bank, fund, structured product or
private health group that distributed through independent advisers. Wholly owned
groups based in offshore financial centres, such as the Isle of Man, Dublin,
Jersey, Guernsey or Luxembourg were also eligible.
There was no restriction on the number of Awards which could have been entered. Where the Award was not aimed at a particular sector such as Life, Private Health or Fund, then the Award was open to all sectors. Examples of this would be the Best Commitment to Services or Best International Sales Team.
How was each award judged?
The questionnaire for each award contained information on what the
judges were looking for.
What was the judging period for products and services?
Products and services entered must have been in existence during the period 1
May 2009 and 13 May 2010. New products were accepted but had to be launched
prior to the closing date for entries which was the 5 March 2010.
