Refining the admin process
Good quality scheme administration is crucial, not only to keeping service to members high, but also to making sure costs are kept as low as possible and data remains secure.
Yet, despite this, and despite industry initiatives to raise the standards of pension scheme administration, more could still be done – something The Pensions Regulator has not been slow to point out.
Trustees and scheme administrators are coming under increasing pressure to make sure their administration procedures are best-in-class; their costs are as low as possible; and their data is secure, no matter whether their scheme is administered in-house or by a third-party.
