British Legal Awards
Business lawyers play a vital role underpinning the UK’s financial services market.
The British Legal Awards set out to celebrate the achievements of those law firms, teams and individuals who have exemplified this often unsung contribution by performing outstandingly over the last 12-18 months.
The awards are divided into individual, team and firm awards and have been carefully chosen to reflect the range of practice areas and skills that lie at the heart of the successful law firm or legal department.
This year there is a new category that seeks to recognise the law firm or legal department with the best Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
Great store has been set by the entry and judging process, which will be simple, transparent and fair.
This year we are delighted to announce that Bill Knight, the president of the City of London Law Society, has agreed to chair the judging panel, which comprises a mix of leading general counsel and senior business figures and commentators.

The closing date for all entries is 11th September and the awards will be presented on 26 November at Old Billingsgate Market in London.
