Introducing the Refining Management Forum
Please note that the 2010 Refining Management Forum has been postponed to 2011 and will not take place this year. If you would like to discuss this further please contact mustafah.abdullah@incisivemedia.com
The Refining Management Forum provides an opportunity for senior managers to discuss topical issues affecting the prospects of the Refining industry. Participants will exchange views and share experiences in managing complex operations in an increasingly challenging business environment.
This year, we will focus on the financial performance of refineries and their prospects for the future. We will examine the outlook for oil (products) against the background of trends towards sustainability, a low carbon economy and concerns on security of supply. We will analyse factors affecting the competitive situation of the industry and look into the rationale behind the different strategic responses by various industry players. Why do we see at the same time companies rationalising their refinery network and shedding smaller, less profitable operations, while others are entering the market and/or improving and expanding their network?
The two day conference programme will be both highly informative and leave plenty of time for socialising, networking and experience exchange. The Refining Management Forum attracts over 100 delegates from Europe’s major players in the oil industry, as well as many senior executives from other regions. As a result, it provides the perfect forum for delegates to stay on track with the latest management thinking, to research new approaches, to trade ideas and to engage effectively with top industry experts and other delegates.
